Peggie Cook is mother to many, not just those born to her. Two of her children and two nieces are violinists in Detroit Youth Volume, which makes her a “home violin teacher”, according to the Suzuki method. She is a member of a mothers support group, Capuchin Choir and Detroit Waldorf community.
