Black Survival Mixtape Casey Rocheteau is an author, historian and artist based in Detroit, MI. They are the creator of the Shrine of the Black Medusa Tarot Deck, which celebrates Black and queer culture.

Casey Rocheteau was the recipient of the inaugural Write A House permanent residency in Detroit. She is a long time artist, activist and educator as well as a historian and poet. Her second collection of poetry will be published on Sibling Rivalry Press in early 2016.
